Seedlings from the fields of Solaris for 2008 The 2007 crop of seedling was very satisfying on a number of fronts. A tremendous number of seedlings showed excellent bud count and branching in their first season of bloom, unusual, since the plants were so small. Flower color is now becoming clearer in the Reckamp lines that have been outcrossed or sibbed. More and more dormant plants are being noted in the seedling rows, this is very important for us, since other foliage habits do not fair well for very long here. |
