Raspberry Swirl.  Klehm.  1993.  Dormant.  Diploid.  30"-4.5".  3-4 branches.  25 buds.  Raspberry bitone with cream petal edges.  The unique star shaped flowers are carried on exemplary scapes above excellent foliage.  Not commonly seen, but should be grown widely.  Extremely popular with summer visitors.

*Ravenous.
   2007. Bremer  (Summer Tanager x Point of View) .  Tetraploid.  52" height, 6.5" flowers.  DEF.  1 to 2 laterals top 'y' branches, average of 19 buds.  Mid season.  Dormant.  Super tall, red and a monster plant!  Ravenous is a good old fashioned star shape with some great size and a scape that will get it noticed almost anywhere.  Flowers hold their color very well in the sun.  The seed came from Karen Trester some years ago as a gift and Ravenous has been drawing blood since.  Scapes are wide and strong and easily carry the large  flowers without tipping or bending. Customers loved it in the seedling bed the last few years and have wanted it as an accent plant or background plant.    Fertile both ways.

A simply gorgeous-soft elegant coloring.  Superior hybridizing plant.  Begins blooming when the majority of other plants have finished up.  One of the best.
