May (peony bloom begins mid month-usually)
Online orders continue to be accepted for the 2017 season.  Peony bloom will begin in mid to late May.  Peony hybridizing will be in full swing.  Spring daylily digging will begin around the middle of the month or as weather permits.  Shipping of daylilies can begin as early as May 15, but is dependant upon weather and plant development.  Lake Michigan keeps us cool in the spring.  American Peony Society Convention in Raleigh, North Carolina, May 31 to June 4.  Peony viewing at Solaris Farms May 26-28, has been suspended due to plant growth problems.   If things change due to weather, we will post updates on our Face Book page.
June (peonies complete bloom, Lilium begin)
American Peony Society Convention in Raleigh, North Carolina, May 31 to June 4.   A second peony bloom date may be set for early June, as weather dictates.  Solaris Farms is closed for this entire month for farm maintenance.
