Terms Solaris Farms will dig your plants on site or carefully send freshly dug plants to any address you submit. We do not sell plants on line (we do mail order though), but hope that our catalog can help you select plants you would like to grow in your garden which we grow in our gardens. The daylilies we sell are listed at double fan prices, unless otherwise noted. It is important to us that you receive an excellent product, so we try, whenever possible to give you more fans than our price list indicates. If you would like to order or reserve plants please e-mail us your order and send complete payment through the mail. Please reference your e-mailed reservation or order with your payment. Ordering from a new grower, or by mail order can be worrisome at times, so please read the information below to alleviate some of your questions. We will make every effort to make your order to us the best and most trouble free possible. Please use our printable order form to purchase plants from this website (through the mail). Please note the below terms of sale. 1)
Domestic orders only. Reservations
of plants made with payment only. 2)
No minimum order. Payment can be made by
personal check or money order by mail. We can also accept credit cards through PayPal™
.
We
do not accept credit cards at the farm at this 3)
Plants are shipped bare root, unless other arrangements are made.
If supplies permit, you will
likely receive more fans than ordered.
4)
Safe delivery of plants is guaranteed.
Because weather in Wisconsin and the Midwest can be extreme in spring,
summer, and fall, shipments may be held until safe delivery can be assured.
Shipping season begins May 15th or as
weather permits (plants will always appear small
in the spring-they aren't developed yet),
and ends September 31st (we don't recommend planting later than September
1st in
Wisconsin though). If you are in a more southern climate, we may ship later in the fall if
upon your advice and our ability to dig plants. Plants
will be shipped within seven days of order receipt whenever possible. 5)
Solaris Farms cannot guarantee the productivity or flower quality of any
plant. All plants are closely
inspected before shipping, and to the best of our knowledge are healthy and
disease free. We are a state
registered and inspected nursery. If for some reason
there is a problem with your order, please do not hesitate to call.
Full refund of the purchase price or replacement of plants which do not
arrive healthy or are below your expectation for quality.
Please note that after ten days we can no longer take responsibility for
plants not in our care, due to environmental, maintenance and planting
variables. 6)
Wisconsin residents please add 5% sales tax.
7)
Plants will be shipped by U.S.P.S. Priority mail at $9.00 up to 5 plants
and $.50 for each additional plant thereafter.
8)
All prices and inventories are subject to change without prior
notification. 9)
These terms apply only to daylily and peony orders.
Other perennial plants and garden related products must be purchased at Solaris Farms.
10)
All daylily orders will
receive bonus plants of our choice, but we would like to include cultivars you
desire.
Please remember to
include a substitution/bonus plant list (reach for the sky, but include some
reasonable requests also).
Some daylilies are in short supply , but in most cases we will have no difficulty
filling your order. If you would prefer no
substitutions simply make note of this and we will refund you where necessary. 11)
Once you receive the plants it is important to get them planted as soon as
possible to insure good health. Please
see our 'perennial care' page on the
website for proper care of new plants. If
you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us. 12) Please remember that Solaris Farms is in a very northern climate and our plants typically get a very late start. Spring ordered plants will arrive looking much smaller than southern grown plants at the same time. These are the same plants as in the south, they just haven't had the time to become large summer fans-they will become just as big as those from the south. |
