Linda’s Dream. McCrae/Adelman. 2013. Lactiflora. Seedling #: McCrae #130. Parentage: ‘Westerner’ open pollinated. Japanese form flowers are medium depth bright magenta, large in size, and fragrant. Cupped guards are generally smooth-edged, but some are irregularly notched. Two to four carpels, green and smooth. Dark magenta stigmas with elongated necks. Mid/late season bloom period. Seed fertility noted. Upright growth to 40 inches (100 cm). Mechanical support may be required. An excellent and showy flower. Premium divisions ship in late September to mid October.
