Mahogany. Glasscock. 1937. Herbaceous hybrid. Parentage: (lactiflora X officinalis ‘Otto Froebel’). American Peony Society Gold Medal winner-2015. American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit. Medium sized, single, cup-shaped bloom of deep mahogany color. Excellent plant habit and foliage. Week 3-4 bloom time. Seed has been observed on this cultivar. Produces massive roots in a short period of time. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
