Minnie Shaylor. Shaylor. 1919. Lactiflora cultivar. American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit. APS ‘Best In Show’-1986. Fragrant. Minnie Shaylor has several rows of fluffy crepe-like petals of clear light pink (almost white). Petals are serrated at the tips toward the center. Anthers are golden yellow an the stigmas are wonderful brilliant pink. An outstanding flower of great beauty. Has been recently used in hybridizing intersectionals. One of our favorite lactifloras for a great show in the garden. Fertile both ways. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
