Black Swan. Murawska. 1968. Herbaceous hybrid. A seedling from Chocolate Soldier x Back Cross x Black Velvet x Chocolate Soldier. (Note: Black Velvet originated from B. Cross x Chocolate Soldier.) Height 28 inches. Color very deep maroon black. Early mid-season. Strong stems with normal hybrid foliage. Full double. Will not be for sale until 1969 or later.
