Zephyrus

Zephyrus (God of the West Wind). Daphnis. 1980.    Advanced generation lutea hybrid. Parentage: (Suisho Haku x F2A). Large semi-double to double creamy white flowers with a light lavender-pink overlay and dark maroon flares. Cream sheath, red stamens and light green stigmas.  Plants are low growing (3′) and produce a wide densely foliated shrub with many stems.  An easy to grow plant.  Beautiful flowers.  Fertile both ways, but seed is difficult.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
