#A-197.  Reath.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  Unregistered seedling.  Parentage: (Saunders seedling x Daphnis pollen). Large cream single with pink and yellow blends and dark flares.  Large, rapid growing plant with thick stems.  Difficult seed fertility with compatible partners. A historical cultivar and sought after by collectors.  Used as a foundational plant in lutea hybridizing programs.  Stem hardiness is lacking in Wisconsin, but will likely retain stems in less rigorous climates.  Prolific and easily grown.  Ships in late September to mid October.
