Good Cheer

Good Cheer.  Saunders.  1942. Lovely light salmon vermilion single cup shaped blooms. (Officinalis x lobata). Excellent flower carriage, which is very upright.   Flower color is unusual and nearly approximates orange.  Good Cheer has an unusual root system in which the crown rests on a narrow neck, making it a difficult subject to propagate.  Plants require excellent drainage, but are not difficult to grow if positioned in a good location.  Fertile highly drained soils grow this cultivar best.   In very high demand by hybridizers and collectors.  Seed fertile.  Adventitious roots. Premium divisions (small growing) ship late September to mid October.
