Coronal. Saunders. 1941. F1 lutea hybrid. Single flowers of soft cream with light rose blush and picotee. Very finished flower in a “bell” shape. Flares lightly “brushed” on. Filaments short, reddish. Stigmas rose. Sheath purple. Foliage is finely cut and beautiful.  Plants are small and slow-growing in Wisconsin.  Plants typically lose all stems during the winter and regrow to bloom profusely from basal shoots. Recommended for experienced growers of woody peonies.  Unique among all woody peonies.  Extremely rare and in high demand.

Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
