Goldfinch

Goldfinch. Saunders. 1948. Seedling #: 16541.  Medium-sized, clear light yellow flowers with no flares.  A beautiful plant and one of our favorites for abundance of bloom and ease of culture.   A very rare Saunders F1 Lutea Hybrid, which is part of our Saunders Woody Peony Preservation Project.  Distinct foliage is finely cut with sharp sawtooth edges. Highly recommended.  Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
