Grows to 4 feet in Wisconsin. Lyra is Latin for lyre and is a small constellation. Lyra was often represented on star maps as a vulture or an eagle carrying a lyre. Also known as “Falling Vulture” or “Falling Eagle”. Flowers ‘fall’ outward around the plant and are a reference to a falling eagle.
