Marie Laurencin.  Daphnis.  1977.  Lutea hybrid.  Beautifully formed single to semi-double flowers of antique pink with deeper rose tones at the center.   Petals notched, ruffled, and crimped, making for an elegant presentation.  Foliage is slightly glossy.  Plants reach approximately 30 inches in Wisconsin.  Produces many ground shoots, which produce a beautiful mounded plant.  This plant often goes dormant a bit earlier than other lutea hybrids.   Easy to grow.  No fertility noted. Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
