Phaedra. Daphnis. 1977. Lutea Hybrid. Parentage. Generation—BC-1; (Segovia x F2 B). Maroon-red flowers with a bluish cast, dark flares. Light semi-double flowers. Petals well-formed and rounded. Small flares are very dark and mysterious. Short flower stems with large, heavy, dark green foliage. No fertility noted. Good substance. Plants are relatively short in Wisconsin and produce numerous stems. (Wife of Theseus). Seedling # D-100.
Ships in late September to mid-October. AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
