Pleasant Point.  Irvine/Sutherland.  2001.  Advanced generation lutea hybrid.  Seedling # 511/9.  Grown from seed produced from Bill Seid’s Lutea hybridizing program and selected in New Zealand. The large semi-double flowers are of cream coloration overlaid with rose highlights.  Flowers are well-formed and presented to face the viewer.   The lightly red flared petals are heavily notched along their outer edges and slightly ruffled and crimped.   The overall effect is a beautifully finished flower.  Plants are good growers and attain heights of around 3.5 feet in Wisconsin.  The width is slightly greater.  No fertility noted at this time.  Parentage:  (Seidl 32 x Rosalind Elsie Franklin). Excellent showflower and beautiful in the garden.  Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
