Elsa Sass

Elsa Sass.  Sass.  1930.  Lactiflora Group.  Fragrant.  Double pure white large double.  Globular in form.  Strong 34″ stems, but should be supported as flowers are very heavy and may lie on the ground if wet.  Excellent cut flower and show flower.  2-3 side buds. Good, healthy, growing plant. Seedling # 11-27.  Awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 1943.  Week 6 bloom time.  No fertility to date.    Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
