Strawberry Delight.  Reath.  1988.  F1 lutea hybrid.  Semi-double to double flowers of subdued strawberry pink.  Petals are well-spaced vertically and are wavy, creating a rather full-looking bloom.  The slender stems hold the flowers to the side, but carriage is quite acceptable.  Plant growth is relatively slow, but it can be expected to reach 3.5 feet in height and 4 feet in width in Wisconsin.   No fertility.   The foliage is narrowly dissected and is tinged red, creating a wonderful backdrop for the ornate blooms.  Rarely available due to slow propagation.  An excellent plant, and we look forward to seeing the beautiful blooms each spring.  Parentage:  (Reath lutea #14 x Shintenchi). Ships in late September to mid-October.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
