Old Smoky.  Bremer.  2025. Suffruticosa Group/Rockii hybrid. Parentage: (‘Shimano-Fuji’ x ‘Captn’ Kate). Seedling #NB-SH52. The full semi-double flowers are white with a smoky lavender blush which darkens into broken flares at the petal bases. Petals are highly ruffled and notched, providing a very finished looking flower. Gorgeous rosebud formation of petals as buds begin to open. Stigmas, sheath and filaments are all violet-red Pollen and seed fertile. Plants are beautiful and rounded to 3 feet. Foliage is infused with much red early in the season. Leaflets are healthy, dense and unblemished compared to other suffruticosa cultivars. The cultivar has proven more resistant to fungal infections compared to other Suffruticosa Group cultivars. A heavy bloomer on short mounded plants.  Ships in late September to mid October.  AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
