Wu Jin Yao Hui. (Glittering Black Gold). China. Unregistered with APS. Chinese suffruticosa. Dark red flowers with black flares. Very floriferous and quite showy. Most Chinese suffruticosa do not grow well for us, but this one is an exception. Plants reach 2.5 feet in Wisconsin, perhaps greater in less rigorous conditions. Fertile both ways. Ships in late September to mid October. AGE: Field grown, 4+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
