Yao Huang (Yao’s Yellow)

Yao Huang (Yao’s Yellow). China. Historic Chinese suffruticosa. Light cream color with a tinge of yellow. Flowers forms are highly variable from year to year, ranging from single to semi-double to full double form. Plants are relatively hardy compared to other Chinese suffruticosa cultivars. Wide deep green foliage and a reliable bloomer here in Wisconsin. 3 feet in height, 3 feet in width. Fertile with effort.  Ships in late September to mid October.
