Rocky Mountain Way.  Bremer.  2026.  Herbaceous Hybrid.  (Nose Gay x mloksewitschii) x P. villosa ‘Sol’).  Seedling #NB-H111.  Five-inch single light pink flowers.   Outer petals are rounded and lightly notched.    Petals have light flares at the center, surrounded by darker pink.   Filaments are pink at the bases and graduate to cream-white near the anthers.  Red carpels are covered in dense, woolly, light white hairs.  Stigmas are red.  The toothy disk is red in color.  The beautiful color combinations create a unique and ornate show.  Flowers face outward on long stems that require no support.  Leaflets are elongated and of deep green color, creating a great foil for the blooms.  Foliage is nearly to the ground, creating a wonderful mound-shaped plant.  Plant height is 24 inches, making it a perfect rock garden subject.  Roots are highly adventitious, thus new plants may be propagated from blind roots.  Requires well-drained soil.  Vigorous growers and are easy garden subjects—extremely winter hardy.  Very early blooming (one of the first herbaceous hybrids to bloom).  Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.

Named for its beautiful floral presentation, which is reminiscent of the abundant spring bloom of wildflowers in the Rocky Mountains.
