Communion Wine

Communion Wine.  Roger Anderson.  1999.  Suffruticosa Group.  Deep purple flowers are semi-double in form. Parentage: (Shintenchi x Shima Daijin). The height in Wisconsin is approximatel 30 inches. Large semi-double blossom with good plant habit. Reliable with good foliage. Excellent amount of bloom.  Seed and pollen fertile. This plant has not been widely distributed to date.  AGE: Field-grown, 3+ year old graft or division from larger plants – our choice of available plant material upon harvest.
