Eliza Lundy

Eliza Lundy.  Krekler.  1976.  Herbaceous hybrid.  (officinalis x lactiflora).  American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit. A smaller to medium sized dense red double flower carried on short sturdy stems of about 24″.  American Peony Society Gold Medal winner-2016 and an outstanding garden plant.  Foliage is relatively narrow and goes dormant earlier than many other hybrids.  Excellent flower carriage and needs no support.  This plant is often overlooked for purchase in catalogs for some reason, but is one of the very good ones in our opinion.  No fertility noted. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
