Eliza Lundy. Krekler. 1976. Herbaceous hybrid. (officinalis x lactiflora). American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit. A smaller to medium sized dense red double flower carried on short sturdy stems of about 24″. American Peony Society Gold Medal winner-2016 and an outstanding garden plant. Foliage is relatively narrow and goes dormant earlier than many other hybrids. Excellent flower carriage-no staking. Week 5 bloom time. No fertility noted. Ships in late September to mid October.
