Jan van Leeuwen. Van Leeuwen. 1928. Lactiflora cultivar. Pure white, deep yellow crest. Pure white guards with center of rather narrow yellow staminodes with yellow tipped carpels. 2 or 3 side buds. Medium height plant with very strong stems that never require support. One of the best lactifloras available and treasured by peony enthusiasts. Foliage is waxy and deep green. Excellent. Seed fertility. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
