Queen of Diamonds.  Bremer.  2020. Herbaceous hybrid.  Seedling #NB-H106B.  Parentage:  (Little Corporal x (Lemon Chiffon x The Mackinac Grand)).  Medium sized semi-double to double pink-red flowers carried on stiff stems.  One bud per stem, carried well above foliage.  Petals are rounded, ruffled and exhibit 1 to 2 small notches on guard petals, inner petals are more ruffled and more deeply notched/feathered. Fertile pollen may be found mixed among petals.  Stigmas are often incomplete and seed is difficult.    Red filaments and stigmas (when present).  Plants require no support during bloom, although spread slightly afterward bloom.  Excellent medium green foliage somewhat more narrow in width than a typical hybrid.  Height to 32 inches.  Plants are excellent garden subjects due to their presentation of bloom and brightly colored flowers.  May be used as a cut flower, but more testing is required.  Flowers may be damaged during wet years, but generally reliable. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
