White Cap

White Cap.  Winchell.  1956.  Lactiflora cultivar.  American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit. 1991 American Peony Society Gold Medal winner.  A wonderfully showy garden plant of Japanese form. Guard petals of raspberry red contrast delightfully with a large center of ivory white staminodes.  A floriferous plant with a very long flowering period.  32″ height with deep green healthy foliage.   Plants present many blooms on upright stems that do not require mechanical support.  Up to 3 side buds.  Popular and an excellent garden plant.  Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
