Angel Cheeks. Klehm. 1970. Lactiflora cultivar. (Mons Jules Elie x seedling 69J). Flower form is a compact bomb shaped double with large pink guard petals. The central puff of petaloids is pink in the upper 2/3rds, and the remaining near the collar are cream. In some years, the flower is a uniform pink throughout. One main bud per stem with 2-3 side buds. Stems are short and strong, to 20-24″ in height. Seedling # 87L. An outstanding large flower. American Peony Society Gold Medal winner – 2005. Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
