Bob. Tischler. 1998. Herbaceous hybrid. The large flowers may be semi-double, double or Japanese in form and black-red in color. Good stem strength which may benefit from mechanical support in some locations. An outstanding cultivar which is in high demand due to its quality flowers and distinctive forms.  Awarded Best in Show at the 2011 American Peony Society Show held in Wilsonville, Oregon in 2011.  Excellent foliage.  Requires well drained soils. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
