Bride’s Dream

Bride’s Dream.  Krekler. 1964.  Lactiflora Group.  APS: Unusual, refined, and entrancing large white, Japanese flower form. Its fadeless, long-lasting midseason blooms are borne on upright 30-inch stems. Has mostly two-inch-long, very narrow twisty pointed white petaloids —a few are a bit wider in the center. There is a wide circle band of shorter cream-tinted ones beneath that show through the white longer top mass, thus giving a delicate creamy effect that is most charming. The pistils are palest green with white tops that peep through a bit.  Seedling #: B-46. Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
