Chalice

Chalice.  Saunders. 1929.  Herbaceous hybrid.  Large shimmering white flowers with long silky stamens, on heavy stems about 3′ tall. Immense dark glossy leaves. Sets a few seeds; the offspring carry on her beauty. Very early bloom.  A very good collectors plant that is quite unique and will not be confused with other cultivars.  Week 4 bloom.  (Primevere x macrophylla).  Premium divisions ship late September to October 15.
