Command Performance. Hollingsworth. 1996. Herbaceous hybrid. Parentage Lactiflora #139 (an unnamed anemone) x Good Cheer. First bloomed about 1980. Cardinal red (RGS 53A). No pollen or stamens. Moderate increase, one bud per stem, blooms midseason. Flower grows to a 7 inch globe and will fade to a light coral-pink, carpels greenish yellow, tipped pale pink. Strong fragrance. Plants do best on fertile sandy loam and in warmer zones. Height 30-32 inches, medium green foliage, veined lighter. Typically no support is needed. Seedling # 994. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
