Crusader. Glasscock. 1940. Herbaceous hybrid. Officinalis hybrid. Early, large semi-double with 3 rows of petals.  Scarlet red petals with red tipped stigmas. Round bud, medium stiff stem, foliage medium dark green. Parentage: (officinalis Rubra x Ruby). Seedling # 14 D 1.  Excellent.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
