Cytherea. Saunders. 1960. Herbaceous hybrid. ALM. APS Gold Medal winner. Cytherea is a shockingly brilliant deep orange-pink when first open. The semi-double flowers later fade to lighter shades of pink and salmon. Plants are relatively short and have excellent stem strength. One of our favorites. Presumed triploid. Rarely produces seed. Adventitious roots. Week 4 bloom time. (lactiflora #1875 x peregrina -Perry-) Ships in late September to mid October.
