Early Windflower

Early Windflower. Saunders. Herbaceous hybrid. Parentage: (P. vietchii x P. emodi). This very rare hybrid peony was an early product of the A.P. Saunders breeding program. Small pure white single flowers born above deeply dissected deep green foliage. Flowers nod and dance in the breeze. An excellent plant which becomes a specimen over time. Superior and sought after by collectors. Performs well in light shade. Some fertility noted.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
