Firebelle. Mains/Alexander. 1959. Herbaceous Hybrid. Semi-double of brilliant deep red color. Parentage: (officinalis x lactiflora). Flowers which are carried on tall stems and blooms quite early. The plant is a vigorous grower. It is valuable as a cut flower as stems can be cut long without dangerous reduction of foliage. Seedling # 20 X. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
