Gertrude Allen

Gertrude Allen.  Nichols/Wild and Son. 1958.  Lactiflora cultivar.  Large single heavy textured white flowers have a dense ring of yellow petaloids.  The flower is large and lacey, and the plants are floriferous.  Approximately 36″ in height.  The many side buds may weigh on the stems, thus extra support may be necessary in some growing locations. Green carpels and light pink stigmas.  Excellent.  No support needed.  Seed fertility.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
