Henry Bockstoce

Henry Bockstoce.  Bockstoce.  1955.  Herbaceous hybrid.  Glossy dark red full double flowers with a rose petal configuration appear to be spheres from a distance.   The very large flowers have an extremely unique appearance and will not be confused with other reds.  Stems are large and thick, but not strong enough to hold the huge flowers upright, thus staking or support is recommended.   No fertility noted.  (officinalis x lactiflora). Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
