Independence Day. Kornder/Buchite/Swenson. 2022. White double with numerous red streaks throughout the flower. Flowers and plant habit are similar to Candy Stripe (if you own one, we recommend not purchasing the other). A very rounded ball-shaped flower. Plants do not need mechanical support, but do tend to lean outward as Candy Stripe does. Excellent healthy foliage. Seed fertility is possible. Unusually long cream colored roots indicate that this may have hybrid origins, but parentage is unknown. Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
