Itoba

Itoba. Japan.  Unregistered, but in commerce.  Hybrid.  Itoba is one of many hybrids that fall under the classification of ‘fernleaf’.  This cultivar has very finely cut, thread-like foliage, which is only slightly wider than the species P. tenufolia.  The flowers are magenta-red and have excellent carriage.  Plants are mound-shaped and show their fine foliage to its fullest.  Plant height is 20 inches when in bloom.  Excellent.  Not fertile. Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
