Itoba

Itoba. Japan.  Unregistered, but in commerce.  Hybrid.  Itoba is one of many hybrids that fall under the classification of ‘fernleaf’.  This cultivar has very finely cut, thread-like foliage which is only slightly wider than the species P. tenufolia.  The flowers are magenta-red and have excellent carriage.  Plants are mound shaped and show of the fine foliage to its fullest.  Plant height is 20 to 25 inches when in bloom.  Excellent.  Not fertile. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
