Laddie. Glasscock. 1941. Herbaceous hybrid. Laddie is a early flowering red single that has beautiful finely cut foliage. Plants are relatively short, but taller than most rock garden types. Red stigmas and stamens with yellow anthers. Many gardeners regard this plant as one of the finer cultivars of its type. Produces seed rarely, has pollen. Parentage: officinalis x tenuifolia. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
