Maiden Rock. 2025. Bremer. Herbaceous Hybrid.  Parentage: (Paselegance x Pastelorama).  Large medium pink flowers often measure in excess of 8 inches.  Double flowers are high built and completely filled.  2 rows of guard petals serve a base for the prominent interior petals.  Interior petals stretch upward and curve to create an elegant display.  Fertile pollen is contained within the petals, but are never visible.  Well formed pink stigmas are present, but are not visible.  Fertile both ways.  Petals are shed completely after bloom, providing a clean look to plants after bloom.  Plants present blooms on thick stems which hold flowers upright, even in wet conditions (they may lean slightly).  No support required.  This seedling was shown in the 2024 American Peony Society Flower Show in Bloomington, Minnesota and received a Certificate of Merit, was elevated to the Court of Honor and was awarded the Best Seedling.   Judges made comments that this flower was unique for form, size, color quality and stem size, presenting a glimpse into the future of hybridizing of Herbaceous Hybrids.  This cultivar is a sibling of ‘Kim’, but is taller.   Stems are strong, foliage is wide and deep green.  Bloom period is mid-season for herbaceous hybrid peonies.   The large plants require 3 solid years of growth to present their blooms in full glory, but it is a notably easy and healthy grower.
