Manitowoc Maiden.  Seidl/Bremer.  2016. Herbaceous Hybrid.  Tetraploid.  Seedling #H-2.  Multi-species hybrid origins.   Large double medium pink blooms.   Large guard petals have gentle waves, while the inner petals are smaller, crinkled, and turn in different directions.  Cream-pink stigmas and light green carpels.  Yellow stamens and anthers that are not easily visible without moving petals out of the way.  Usually 1 bud per stem, but will occasionally produce 1 side bud.  Stem strength is good, and we have not needed to support stems.  Manitowoc Maiden has deep green foliage with wavy leaf edges that lasts well through the summer.  Easily fertile both ways.  Plants are fast growers and make beautiful clumps quickly.  Excellent-looking seedlings are being produced using other hybrid pollens.  Very popular.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
