Night Watch. Saunders. 1950. Night Watch is a dark red-black single with wide petals that turn at various points along their edges. Foliage is dark green with some red coloration. Seldom offered and certainly worth growing. Carpels are a showy flesh-red color at the end of season for added beauty. Week 4 bloom time. Easy to grow on clay soils. Fertile. (anomola x ?). Ships late September to mid October.
