Paeonia emodi (hybrids – Windflower strains)

Paeonia emodi (hybrids).  Herbaceous hybrid of species characteristics.  This group of plants came to us a P. emodi, but upon review they did not completely fit the species designation.   Plants produce small white flowers closely resembling P. emodi and are quite attractive.  They best fit and are most likely ‘Windflower’ flower strain plants (P. veitchii x emodii) or selfings of ‘Early/Late Windflower.   Much like Early Windflower, but plant are more diminutive.  Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
