Paeonia tenuifolia ‘Kinlen’ is a registered form and selection of ‘rosea’. Plants are superior for vigor and floral display to the typical ‘rosea’ form. The plant will become many-stemmed in just 3 or 4 years. Proven to be more adaptable than other ‘rosea’ forms. Commonly used in hybridizing, it possesses a different genetic makeup than similar ‘rosea’ forms. Excellent. Pink flowers carried on upright stems in abundance. Foliage is extremely fine and ornamental.  Blooming-size plants are typically 14 to 18 inches in height when in bloom. Blunt, rounded root segments are sausage-like.  Plant in full sun in a well-drained location that never becomes wet.  Outstanding little plants for the rock garden or front of the border.  Blooming size divisions. Premium divisions ship late September to mid-October.
