Paul Friesen

Paul Friesen.  Tischler.  1995.  Herbaceous hybrid.  Parentage unknown. A bright red single. Blooms 4 to 5 inches in size on strong, sturdy stems that grow 24 to 25 inches in height. Light green carpels are surrounded by red stamens and then a full row of golden yellow. Stands upright with excellent foliage. Blooms early. A very attractive low-growing plant which makes it well-liked by all who see it in the garden.  Very dark and ornamental foliage at emergence.  Seedling # 7269. Premium divisions ship late September to mid October.
