Pink Princess.  Klehm. 1978. Lactiflora Group.  The single form flowers are large, pink, and speckled with deeper pink.  Petals are lighter at the center. Bright pinkish-red stigmas add an accent.  3 or 4 side buds extend the bloom season.  Foliage is dark green with much infusion of red pigment.  Foliage extends to the ground is large for a Lactiflora.  Excellent plant habit and superior to most pink single cultivars.  Excellent increase and beautiful in a clump.  No mechanical support required.  There are many pink single-form Lactiflora Group cultivars – this is one of the best among them.  Premium divisions ship from late September to mid-October.
